Teaching and Learning Enhancement (TLE) is an integral professional services team within Warwick Business School (WBS), leading on a range of initiatives and projects to enhance our courses, the quality of our teaching, and opportunities for development through close partnership with academic colleagues. The Director of TLE leads this team of highly dedicated and skilled individuals, through fostering a culture of partnership with faculty, specialist and expert knowledge, and ensuring the ongoing development of world-class online and hybrid modules.
We will consider applications for employment on a part-time or other flexible working basis, even where a position is advertised as full-time, unless there are operational or other objective reasons why it is not possible to do so.
About You
The successful candidate will have significant experience of working at a senior level within higher education or a related sector, with deep knowledge of working with faculty and/or students to enhance teaching and learning materials and courses. They’ll be a strong leader with experience of developing and implementing strategic developments, as well as a large team. They be used to dealing with ambiguity, user-centric and able to drive forward change management projects as required.
With a deep empathy for higher-education, the right candidate will be able to work effectively with a range of stakeholders, from students through to senior management to ensure that the School’s teaching and learning portfolio continues to evolve in a fast-paced external environment and in-line with the School’s strategy.
