- THE ROLE -
To ensure the university-wide development and delivery of a cost-effective, high quality and responsive service for:
- The discovery of resources within the library’s collections and the bibliographical and other metadata records used to describe them, and
- The associated processes of cataloguing - record creation and maintenance - and acquisitions – the procurement or leasing of e-book, print book and other resources or content and their preparation for use.
- ABOUT YOU -
- Degree, with postgraduate qualification in Librarianship or Information Science OR Degree in Librarianship or Information Science (Postgraduate qualification at least at Diploma level).
- Experience of using information technology in a library context.
- Practical experience of using a Library Management System.
