Senior Lecturer in 3D Animation

Middlesex University London is recruiting for an exciting new position Senior Lecturer in 3D Animation (Practice) to support our associated programmes in the School of Design.

The new Senior Lecturer in 3D Animation (Practice) will lead the programme and be an active member of a teaching team delivering excellence across the programme, and the wider suite of programmes in the Film School as appropriate.

The successful candidate will inform their teaching with their research/ practice specialism appropriate to the curriculum and the needs of the student body. The role will be held by an experienced Higher Education academic and researcher/practitioner who combines professional practice activities with learning and teaching and a broader contribution to their programme. They will be working in a team with significant technical expertise, geared to delivering a curriculum that is industry informed and committed to supporting our students to be industry-ready.

The role involves working collaboratively with the academic team to ensure that the programme meets the needs of students, industry, and the wider organisation. The successful candidate will contribute to the strategic direction, leadership, and management of the directorate in which this programme sits.
