The Henry Royce Institute and the National Graphene Institute are seeking an administrator to assist in the running of two Centres for Doctoral Training (CDTs). This is an exciting opportunity to join two national research institutes in supporting the development of the next generation of materials scientists.
The post holder will provide administrative support to the Centres for Doctoral Training in Materials 4.0 (0.5FTE) and 2D Materials of Tomorrow (0.4 FTE) working closely with the Centre Managers and Centre Directors. You will be the first point of contact for our PhD researchers and prospective applicants, providing information and support on a broad range of issues and signposting them to specialist areas as required. You will help with the logistics for CDT events and meetings, and will keep our websites and social media platforms updated with relevant content.
The ideal candidate will be organised, adaptable and enjoy working in a people-facing role. The post is available as a 0.9FTE (4.5 days per week) role until 30 September 2032.
