Applications are invited for the positions of Postdoctoral Research Associate in Condensed Matter Theory and Modelling of Quantum 2D Materials
This is an opportunity for experienced researchers in condensed matter theory to study physical properties (electronic band structure, electronic transport, optical and thermoelectric) of two-dimensional materials, their heterostructures, and devices based on such materials. We seek theorists with experience (proven by publications record) in physics of two-dimensional materials, quantum transport studies, and knowledge of strongly correlated quantum systems. Skills in field-theory methods in condensed matter theory will be required, and knowledge of ab initio modelling using density functional theory will be welcome. The role will report to Prof. Vladimir Falko.
Along with your application, you should submit a single file containing your CV, list of publications, and research statement (max 2 pages).
The closing date for applications is 02/01/2025
