About the role

Applications are invited for a Research Assistant to work with Dr George Stothart and Professor Liz Coulthard across multiple research projects conducted by Dr Stothart’s Fastball Lab and Prof. Coulthard’s Remembr Group.

Our research focuses on the clinical and cognitive neuroscience of dementia and includes studies to validate new electroencephalography (EEG) markers of cognitive impairment for use in the diagnosis of dementia, as well as several studies examining the role of sleep in dementia pathogenesis and treatment.

Your role will involve extensive contact with dementia patients and carers, clinical and research staff.
