Applications are invited for a permanent post of a Lecturer/Assistant Professor in Pathology within UCD School of Medicine.
Applications are invited for the post of Lecturer in Pathology within the Biomedical Sciences Section, UCD School of Medicine. This is a full-time position based at the UCD Health Sciences Centre, Belfield.
The post-holder will also develop and maintain a competitive programme of externally funded, basic and/or translational research activity in Pathology, which is aligned with the School Research and synergises with current strengths in the Conway Institute of Biomolecular and Biomedical Research and other relevant UCD Research Institutes and Centres. The postholder will supervise student research activities in both undergraduate and postgraduate research degree programmes (including PhD, MD and other postgraduate research degrees).
Working with the other academic staff in UCD Pathology, the appointee will deliver teaching in Pathology to students in Medicine, Biomedical Health and Life Science, Physiology, Biomedical Engineering and Radiography and other degree programmes, as required. The post holder will maintain and develop the teaching mission of the School of Medicine.
