You will need to excel in analysing and interpreting commercial information as part of our KYC/Due diligence activities. You’ll also be expected to bring creative and engaging approaches to developing and delivering programmes that support researchers to translate ideas into deployable solutions. The role will evolve over time so would suit someone who is excited at the prospect of developing new skills and enjoys taking on fresh challenges.

Initial responsibilities will include:

  • providing internal stakeholders with intelligence on the partners we work with and the landscape we operate in by undertaking due diligence and triaging activities in relation to institutional policies and legislation, for example on national security
  • introducing researchers to knowledge exchange activity and providing opportunities for them to develop new skills and understanding through our KE Accelerator Programme
  • accelerating the development of ideas into new partnership opportunities and for new product, services and policy solutions through the Ideas Hub and other programmes
  • design and develop new resources and training materials for EI staff and researchers

The post holder will be expected to work closely with colleagues across Exeter Innovation as well as other internal stakeholders in all three Faculties and across Professional services, particularly Research Services, Legal Services and Compliance Governance & Risk.
