We are looking for an experienced Principal Developer (HR) to join our Digital, Data & Technology Group.
Role Impact:
The role will be responsible for a technology stack comprising of SaaS, PaaS, Commercial off the Shelf as well as in-house custom developed applications, with a strong focus on MHR iTrent HR & Payroll Software. The Principal Developer has the skills and experience necessary to plan and manage all phases of work, driving continual improvement, embedding good practices, processes and methods.
Key Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Head of Platforms and Applications and collaborating with Business Engagement, Architecture, & Portfolio Management teams, you’ll be the subject matter expert for your technology area. You'll play a pivotal role in shaping technology strategy and driving maximum value from the University’s digital estate.
Remuneration Package - A market supplement of up to £4,000 is applied for this role in addition to the basic pay.

DDaT New Starter Bonus* In addition to the great benefits DDaT has to offer, you can benefit from a £2,000 New Starter Bonus. £1,000 is payable after you have successfully completed 1 years' service. The remaining £1,000 will be paid once you have successfully completed 2 years' service.
Please note this bonus is only applicable to certain roles in DDaT and is specified on the relevant job adverts. Bonus payments will be pro rata for part time roles.
This role is offered on a full time (36.5 hours per week) permanent basis.
