Applications are invited for a three year part-time Daphne Jackson Fellowship funded by Kidney Research UK to be held at any UK university or research institute. The Fellowship is intended for researchers wishing to return to research that is relevant to kidney health and kidney disease.
Kidney Research UK
As the leading kidney research charity in the UK, nothing is going to stop us in our urgent mission to end kidney disease. We’re here to be heard, to make a difference, to change the future. This is a disease that ruins and destroys lives. It must be stopped.
Over the past 60 years, our research has made an impact. But kidney failure is rising, as are the factors contributing to it, such as diabetes, cardiovascular disease and obesity. We lobby governments and decision makers to change policy and practice to ensure that the estimated 7.2 million people living with kidney disease in the UK have access to the most effective care and treatment, and to make kidney disease a priority.
Only research will end kidney disease, by offering kidney patients and their families hope for the future.
Where opportunities exist we are keen to foster collaborative partnerships, and already work with several other research funders.
