- THE ROLE -
The School of Medicine at Ulster University is being established to widen access to medicine across the North-West of Northern Ireland, and has an ambition to encourage graduates into careers in General Practice. To that end approximately 30% of the course will be delivered in GP, and the purpose of this role is to lead the delivery of GP Education for the MBBS programme.
The appointee will be a General Practitioner who can act as an influential and positive role model for students, and whose clinical credibility enables them to persuade and influence clinical colleagues in developing and maintaining high quality clinical learning experiences for students. The post holder will be a senior member of the School of Medicine Education team, with responsibility for the leadership of GP based clinical education for students, alongside other educational responsibilities as appropriate to the role.
- ABOUT YOU -
- Hons Degree at 2:1 or higher in Medicine
- Experience of teaching and examining in marketing or related areas at University level
- Registered with General Medical Council
- Licence to Practice with the General Medical Council and on GP Register
