About the role:

The Department of Chemical Engineering welcomes applications for the post of Senior MSc Administrator to provide an efficient and effective administrative support service to students and staff.

What you would be doing:

Reporting to the Postgraduate Office Manager, you will be responsible for the organisation, running and monitoring of the MSc courses in Advanced Chemical Engineering. You will also manage the MSc student admissions process and monitor and direct MSc student-related procedures. In addition, you will work collaboratively with the Postgraduate Office Manager and Postgraduate Research Student Administrator, providing cover where necessary, to ensure the smooth running of all aspects of the PG Office.

  • You are able to interact confidently and personably with students, applicants and staff at all levels.
  • You are able to prioritise workloads and use your initiative to seek out, analyse and solve problems.
  • You have commitment, discretion and a confident manner.
  • You have the ability to work autonomously and flexibly, especially when under pressure.
  • You have excellent organisational and communication skills.

Further Information

The post is offered as a full-time, open-ended contract and is based in the Department of Chemical Engineering at Imperial College London (South Kensington Campus). You would normally be expected to work 60% of your time on site.
