The role

The School of Electrical, Electronic and Mechanical Engineering is seeking to appoint a Teaching Associates in Photonics and Quantum Technologies. The primary purpose of this position is to support teaching and project supervision within the Photonics and Quantum Academic Team. The academic team is progressive and inventive, committed to a modern, integrated approach to the teaching of Photonics and Quantum Technologies. It promotes education through a multidisciplinary approach, integrated team teaching, and a wide range of teaching and assessment methods. You will be teaching alongside top-tier, innovative educators. We are particularly interested in developing project skills and teaching related to our state-of-the-art cleanroom facility where we explore both photonics and electronics nanofabrication.

What will you be doing?

Assist in the delivery and assessment of a number of undergraduate and masters levels units taught in the EEME school. Supervise and assess Individual and group Research Projects in years 3, 4  and One year MSc programmes (Optoelectronics & Quantum Technologies, Optical Communications & Signal Processing).
