Applications are sought for a committed Post-doctoral Research Fellow to work with Prof. Andrea Di Falco conducting research for an ARIA-funded project entitled Distributed photovoltaic neural networks for environmental monitoring.
The primary duties will be to develop an experimental implementation of optical neural networks based on photovoltaic panels. The network will be used to study cloud formation dynamics in a laboratory environment.
The successful applicant will have demonstrated expertise in machine learning or experimental implementation of optical neural networks and/or complex optical setups for advanced imaging applications.
The post is available for 24 months starting in January 2025 or as soon as possible thereafter.
