The UCL GOS ICH, together with its clinical partner Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children, forms the largest concentration of children’s health research outside North America. The 2024-29 GOS ICH strategy focuses on its five scientific programmes. About the role
This is a research project manager post in global child health services research to provide research project management for the Neotree project in Malawi.
The post holder will be support by Prof Michelle Heys and the Neotree team at UCL, funded by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation. Key duties and responsibilities include;
• To provide research project management for the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation funded evaluation of Neotree in Malawi, including coordinating meetings, supporting budget management, managing communications and dissemination of Neotree work, and contributing to grant applications and other outputs.
• To support and liaise across the clinical, product and software development teams on refining and developing the app and its functionality.
The salary offered in this post is £52,487 per annum and is funded for 2 years in the first instance.
About you
The post holder should have a Bachelors and Masters in a health services relevant domain, preferably with experience of project management, including administrative and financial management, health services research and delivery, working in a multi-disciplinary environment liaising with partners and stakeholders across geographies, and an interest in digital health interventions and newborn/maternal care.
