Salary
We will mirror the successful applicant’s NHS pay and progression including transitional pay arrangement.
The role
The role combines clinical and research training in general adult psychiatry. The successful applicant will be supported by the Centre for Academic Mental Health to develop their own independent programme of research.
What will you be doing?
The successful applicant will combine completing their clinical training in general adult psychiatry, working towards CCT (50%), with academic training in psychiatry, working towards developing their own programme of research and applying for Advanced Fellowships (50%).
The post is for a maximum of four years, or until CCT is reached, whichever is the sooner. NIHR may approve an extension post-CCT provided this is within the 4 year’s funding for the award.
