Faculty/Directorate
The Faculty of Health and Life Sciences at DMU educates and develops professionals who make a significant difference to people’s lives, health, wellbeing, communities and society. It is home to the Leicester School of Allied Health Sciences in which this post will be based.
Role
You would work as part of a team, primarily delivering high quality teaching and training across a range of programmes. You would be mainly focusing on teaching and training in clinical audiology across our programmes. You would focus on at least ONE area of specialism in diagnostic (ERA), vestibular science or paediatric audiology, as well as take an active role in other aspects of audiology teaching, dependant on your experience and expertise. The role will involve supporting onsite clinics and being part of the academic placement team.
You be engaged in collaboration, enterprise and research development. The Audiology section of the school is one of the largest in the country and boosts excellent facilities and the latest teaching and clinical equipment.
Ideal Candidate
Ideal candidate should be experienced in one of the areas of specialism and be enthusiastic about the subject. They should have an all-round grounding in Audiology. Although a postgraduate qualification in Audiology would be beneficial, we are interested to hear from candidates with significant clinical experience. The candidate must be passionate about teaching and training and are creative and willing to develop.
