The MA Curating and Collections course (MACC) hosts a large, international and diverse student cohort to participate in a practical curriculum focused on live learning and industry partnerships.

You will develop professionally purposed pedagogy and enhance the MACC curriculum in innovative directions, drawing on your experience and networks to prepare students for ambitious graduate futures within culture sectors in the UK and globally, with special attention to ethical curatorial approaches.

About you

You will be a recognised authority in your contemporary curating subject area; as evidenced through a track record of professional practice at international level with specific expertise in:

  • Display considerations and exhibition technology
  • Working with public and/or private collections
  • Knowledge of contemporary cultural and curatorial contexts from non-European regions

You will have a proven track record of teaching in the HE sector, and experience of working with substantial and culturally diverse cohorts. You will have a dynamic and engaging approach to working with others that promotes inclusivity, initiative, and professionalism. You will have an astute understanding of a broad range of international graduate destinations.

You will be well-organised, inspirational, have outstanding written and verbal communication skills, and be a confident and engaging public speaker.
