The opportunity
We are looking for a Senior Lecturer to oversee on-going scholarship, teaching, curriculum development, and related academic administration on the MA Curating and Collections course at Chelsea College of Arts.
The MA Curating and Collections course (MACC) hosts a large, international and diverse student cohort to participate in a practical curriculum focused on live learning and industry partnerships.
You will develop professionally purposed pedagogy and enhance the MACC curriculum in innovative directions, drawing on your experience and networks to prepare students for ambitious graduate futures within culture sectors in the UK and globally, with special attention to ethical curatorial approaches.

You will be a recognised authority in your contemporary curating subject area; as evidenced through a track record of professional practice at international level with specific expertise in:
You will have a proven track record of teaching in the HE sector, and experience of working with substantial and culturally diverse cohorts. You will have a dynamic and engaging approach to working with others that promotes inclusivity, initiative, and professionalism. You will have an astute understanding of a broad range of international graduate destinations.
You will be well-organised, inspirational, have outstanding written and verbal communication skills, and be a confident and engaging public speaker. You will have excellent professional networks within the UK and internationally that you can draw upon as needed. Your proven experience of complex project and schedule management, working within a team, and supporting the needs of others, individually and in groups, is essential.
