The Department of Physiology, Development and Neuroscience (PDN) is seeking a team player to join us as a Stores and Purchasing Administrator in our friendly accounts team. PDN is a large, welcoming, and inclusive Department with an exceptional international record in teaching and research.
You will undertake a wide range of duties following University policy, procedures and best practice in order to deliver a first class Stores and Purchasing service to the Departments scientists, teaching and administration staff.
You will be educated to at least A Level standard or equivalent or possess a comparable level of practical experience. The successful candidate will be highly organised, computer literate, and have excellent attention to detail. Good communication and people skills are also prerequisites for the role, which involves interacting with a range of stakeholders in the Department, the wider University and externally. The position is offered on a permanent, full-time basis.
