Student Administration Services, undertake the administration of the student lifecycle including Welcome, Enrolment & Registration, Visa Support & Guidance, Student Records & Graduation. We work to ensure all students who study at King's receive a world-class student experience by aligning support for students through their educational journey at King's with the academic cycle of events throughout the year.

We are part of the Students & Education Directorate, a collection of wide-ranging professional services in place to support King’s students and their education. As a directorate we manage the student lifecycle from application to graduation and beyond, to ensure a coherent & seamless student experience and effective administrative processes, working closely with King’s faculties to do so.

About You:

To be successful in this role, we are looking for candidates to have the following skills and experience:

Essential criteria

  1. Relevant work experience and/or education: We think a wide range of different work & educational experiences could support you to be successful in this role. Relevant work experience might include work in administration, or records management. Relevant educational experiences might include higher education in a related discipline, professional qualifications or other training
  2. Excellent attention to detail and an eye for accuracy  
  3. Excellent IT Skills, including with the Microsoft Office Suite
  4. Excellent administrative skills, including the ability to organise, and plan ahead effectively.
  5. Good oral & written communication skills, with the ability to provide detailed advice and guidance on specialist defined processes and procedures to internal and external contacts
  6. Ability to work collaboratively
  7. Flexible and comfortable with adapting to change.

Desirable criteria

  1. Experience of working with SITS or equivalent student records database 
  2. Experience of working in Higher Education administration 
  3. Understanding of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)
