Do you want to be involved in shaping Nursing in Wales? YES? – then read on: Wrexham University (WU) is delighted to be in a position to advertise for a Senior Lecturer (Mental Health Nursing) post within the Faculty of Social and Life Sciences Nursing Department.
The nursing programme offers exciting opportunities to contribute to delivery of our HEIW commissioned programme. Applicants must have current Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) registration as a Mental Health Nurse, experience in teaching and supporting student nurses and experience in relevant clinical areas.
Successful candidates will be committed to ensuring accessible routes into nursing are in place in support of the development of a future workforce who are truly representative of the people of Wales. WGU’s Active Learning Framework (ALF) will form the basis of all curriculum developments. This innovative learning blend helps to ensure that students access their teaching and learning in the ways that are best suited to certain activities.
Successful candidates will build upon existing strong partnerships to work closely with HEIW, Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board (BCUHB), Powys Teaching Health Board, and other stakeholders to ensure that the curriculum is closely aligned to service needs.
