The role
University of Bristol Source Catering have an opportunity to join their team as a Kitchen Porter, assisting the kitchen team and front of house in the preparation and service of food to our students and university staff and provide an efficient clean and well-organised kitchen and wash up area.

This role is term time only and 20 hours per week with all overtime paid and you will benefit from the University closure days which include all bank holidays, Christmas, new year and Easter.
What will you be doing?
Maintaining an organised and clean wash up cycle of crockery, cutlery, pans and other goods ensuring the kitchen is kept clean and tidy. Operating and cleaning of kitchen equipment. Keeping the stores area clean and assisting with receiving and checking goods inwards this will include cleaning and waste collation of external areas. Assisting under supervision with simple food preparation and service of food.
