The Team 

With the student experience at its core, Academic Registry provides a flexible student focused administration service supporting core academic activities of the student lifecycle and the operation of the Academic Schools. The Academic Registry works in partnership with academic and administrative colleagues throughout the University to provide a professional, high quality, and customer-focused service in support of the University’s academic mission and strategic priorities.

The Role 

Records and Course Administrators provides core and critical support for the teaching administration and support for delivery of all taught programmes, undergraduate and postgraduate students including on our apprenticeships and at partner institutions. As a point of contact for Academic Course Leaders, the role will be varied with a focus on maintaining accurate student, module and course data to allow for effective course management. Administrators will take responsibility for a suite of cognate courses and are expected to work closely with the Course Leader to develop an in-depth understanding of the course structure. 

The person

No two days will be the same. You might be helping at Graduation ceremonies, conducting process reviews, advising on regulations or supporting students with queries. An inquisitive mind and someone who enjoys problem solving would be well suited to the role. You should be comfortable with competing and changing priorities with some data processing experience or competencies. Previous experience of working in HE and specifically with courses allied to health would be a benefit for this role.
