We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic healthcare professional with experience of supervising and supporting learning to join the University of East Anglia (UEA) School of Pharmacy. You will be expected to make a full contribution to teaching, predominantly focussed on undergraduate level of the Pharmacy (MPharm) programme. This post would suit someone looking to make the transition from clinical practice to education or someone coming to the end of their PhD looking for their first academic position.

The MPharm programme at UEA is highly regarded for its innovation and focus on practical application of skills. In this role, you will use your contemporary experience of healthcare and passion for developing others to contribute to teaching and administration in the School. You will focus on the practical application of developing autonomous independent practitioners to advance the next generation of pharmacy professionals. You will join a growing, committed and friendly staff team and work collaboratively with colleagues across the School, Faculty and wider University to support the learning, teaching and assessment in pharmacy and healthcare courses. With support and mentorship, you will be given the opportunity to grow and develop as an academic healthcare professional.

The ideal candidate will be a registered healthcare professional with an interest in and experience of supporting others learning. You will have experience of education and training including the development of teaching material for healthcare professionals. You must be passionate about developing the next generation of pharmacy professionals and will be expected to build an external reputation for your expertise in healthcare education.

This full-time post is available immediately on an indefinite basis.
