The Department of Statistics is home to internationally respected experts in statistics and data science. Maintaining and advancing our leading reputation for teaching and research is our top priority. In line with our educational strategy our professional services team is expanding, and we are looking to appoint a Deputy Department Manager for Teaching and Programme Delivery.
This is a senior post within the Department working closely with the Department Manager, Head of Department and Deputy Head of Department of Teaching to provide a high-quality experience to students in Statistics. You will oversee the administration to support the whole student lifecycle including recruitment, offer holder and pre-arrival communication, teaching and assessment, through to graduation. You will manage the Programmes Team to ensure the delivery of a positive, consistent and comprehensive student experience across all Statistics taught course and research programmes.
Candidates should be educated to degree standard or higher, or have the equivalent through experience, have knowledge and practical experience of academic administration including an understanding of programme delivery in higher education, and experience of line management.
