An exciting opportunity has arisen to work in the Facilities Directorate (FD) Marketing, Sales and Retention team supporting our Sport and Physical Activity (SPA) service. You will manage the sales & membership team and be responsible for meeting challenging membership targets to help achieve our sports strategy. You will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of the sales & membership team, including the implementation of the membership sales strategy, planning and delivering promotional activities and initiatives. You will be required to contribute to the wider team, evaluating the impact of activities undertaken and contributing ideas for improvements to the general operation of the service.
You will have experience working in a customer focused environment, with excellent communication skills and the ability to build effective relationships. With a commitment to providing excellent customer service and identify continuous service improvements, you will have the ability to manage and prioritise your own workload whilst line managing your team to tight deadlines. You will also have a high level of accuracy and attention to detail, with excellent analytical, numeracy and literacy skills.
The role is required for 35 hours each week, which may include the requirement for you to work during an evening, weekend and occasional Bank Holiday working.
