Language Zone Advisor

Location: Leeds - Main Campus

Overview of the Role

As Language Zone Advisor, you will play an important role in providing effective support to the Language Zone Manager and ensuring the smooth running of the Language Zone, a language learning resource facility open to all staff and students at the University.  You will provide day-to-day supervision for Language Zone Counter Assistants and assist users in using the Language Zone and its services, developing and delivering language-related activities and workshops to students.

You will be a professional and proactive team player, with strong communication and interpersonal skills.  Working primarily on you own initiative, you will be well organised with excellent attention to detail and a flexible approach to work.   You will work collaboratively with other colleagues across the University, and beyond, to share good practice and encourage knowledge exchange between colleagues to facilitate continuous improvement.
