We are looking for an organized, proactive, and detail-oriented individual to provide essential administrative support across our postgraduate programmes, ensuring excellence in education and an unrivalled student experience.

Purpose of the Role:

As an Administrator, you will be integral to the coordination, organisation, and administration of postgraduate programmes. Working closely with the School General Manager and academic staff, your role will encompass all stages of the student lifecycle, from admissions to graduation. You will play a key role in ensuring that our students enjoy a seamless experience as they progress through their studies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer key elements of student admissions, support, and assessment processes for both taught and research programmes.
  • Be the first point of contact for students, staff, and external contacts, providing daily support and answering a wide range of queries.
  • Take a leading role in managing student recruitment and assessment processes, as well as maintaining accurate student and financial records.
  • Provide administrative support for committee meetings, open evenings, and other school events such as the School’s public lecture series.
  • Ensure adherence to data protection and information security standards, regularly reviewing and managing programme information.
  • Provide clerking and minute-taking at meetings and ensure meeting rooms are fully set up with the necessary AV equipment.
  • Manage student timetabling and coordinate the academic calendar.
  • Undertake financial administration, including ordering supplies and processing payments using Agresso.
  • Administer payments to guest lecturers and suppliers, raising purchase orders, and managing programme expenditure.
  • Support the smooth running of postgraduate programmes by coordinating handbooks, records, publications, travel arrangements, and room bookings.

Who We're Looking For: The ideal candidate will have strong administrative skills, with experience in a busy academic or professional environment. You should be highly organised, with an eye for detail and the ability to juggle multiple tasks at once. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential, as is a proactive and problem-solving approach. Experience with financial systems such as Agresso is desirable.
