The Residential Experience team, within the Student Living team, are looking to recruit a motivated and enthusiastic Residential Experience Officer.
The successful candidate will be required to carry out the Enrichment programme as part of the wider ResX team. This is a wide-ranging role and the successful candidate will need to be flexible and confident and able to work as part of a team but also use their own initiative within the remit of the role. You will have experience of using Office 365, and of using creative processes to organise and deliver your work. You will have great communication skills both in person and in writing, and will work with internal and external stakeholders, providing day to day support with the events and activities on campus. Knowledge and experience of event planning, learning environments, and student experience is desirable.
You will enjoy working in a fast-paced environment where you can demonstrate your ability to meet deadlines and provide and excellent service whilst enabling you to work directly with the residential community. You will be involved in a variety of tasks including event planning and management, supervision of student staff, and team work. A high level of attention to detail is required.
This role is based on all three UoN campuses as directed. The position is an active, event management role with significant time away from a desk. The post is offered on a permanent contract. Hours of work are full time (36.25 hours per week) and work on a 5 days out of 7 pattern. This role will be required to work weekends and evenings as part of those 5 days in a range of shift patterns between the hours of 8am to 10pm. Job share arrangements may be considered.
