Here at Bury College, we are seeking a Team Leader/Lecturer in Electrical Installation to deliver excellent and inclusive teaching, learning and assessment on our Electrical Installation courses, inspiring learners to succeed and progress.

Can you be a positive and inspirational role model for learners? If so, becoming a Team Leader or Lecturer in Electrical Installation could be the perfect role for you!

You will plan delivery so schemes of work, lesson plans and individual learning plans support learner programmes and undertake ongoing high-quality formative and summative assessment of learners’ work, both in class and through regular out of class activity to monitor progress.

About You

We are looking for someone who holds a Level 3 qualification in Electrical Installation and has up-to-date knowledge of the current edition of the IET wiring regulations. We would like you to have a teaching qualification and previous teaching experience on Electrical Installation courses (or teaching practice for ECT’s) to include producing effective schemes of work and lesson plans and be able to integrate high-quality formative assessments into classroom delivery.

** For academic year 24/25 eligible teachers could receive a premium payment of up to £6,000 ** (further details available on request)
