The post
The Faculty wishes to recruit a Postdoctoral Research and Impact Fellow to participate in the delivery of the 3-year EPSRC Funded Digital Innovation and Circular Economy Network+. The aim of the network is to realise a transformative shift in the sustainability and circularity of digital and communication technologies, leveraging the power of the digital revolution to drive a circular economy across sectors and value chains.
The Research and Impact Fellow will be a key player in driving positive change towards a more sustainable and circular economy. You will be working at the forefront of innovation, collaborating with a diverse network of experts, and influencing how industries and governments approach sustainability including:
About you
The successful applicant will be able to develop research objectives, projects and proposals; identify sources of research funding and contribute to the process of securing funds and make presentations at conferences and other events.
Applicants will possess a relevant PhD or equivalent qualification/experience in a related field of study. The successful applicant will be a nationally recognised authority in the Circular Economy and / or Digital Technology and possess sufficient specialist knowledge in the discipline to develop research programmes and methodologies. The successful applicant will also be able to work collaboratively, supervise the work of others and act as team leader as required. Applicants will be able to work in an interdisciplinary way, understanding and integrating the work of others to develop and communicate a clear vision and roadmap for the future.
