The Department of Nursing, situated in the School of Human and Health Sciences, is seeking to recruit a number of Skill Educators to contribute to our skills, simulation, and practice education support across our pre-registration nursing programmes, within a range of full-time and part-time (minimum 0.4 FTE). We are particularly interested to receive applications from people with adult and mental health nursing expertise. The Department is soon to be situated within a new, state of the art building, with increased and enhanced skill laboratory resources, so this really is an exciting time to be joining our team.
As a Skills Educator, you will contribute to a range of student nursing skills education, supporting our students in practice, and conduct a range of assessments.
NMC registration is essential for this post, and relevant clinical experience in a field of nursing, as is experience of supporting students.
We offer an excellent employment package including hybrid working, blending a mix of remote and on-campus working (dependent on work duties).
This post is subject to an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check. Regular status checks may also be required, depending on your role.
