About the role
The Global Health and Infection department of the Brighton and Sussex Medical School is looking for a confident, well organised and highly motivated Research Project Officer to support the Global Health Research Programmes Manager to oversee multidisciplinary management and research activities of large externally funded research programme such as the NIHR Global Health Research Unit on Neglected Tropical Diseases (NTDs) Phase 2 led by BSMS.
This post will be based in the department of Global Health and Infection (GHI) at BSMS, more information about which can be found below.
About you
We are looking for someone with excellent organisation and administration skills who is confident in dealings with complex administration including planning and coordinating events, procurement and purchasing and travel bookings. You will have excellent interpersonal skills and able to deal and respond to requests from internal and external stakeholders. You will have the skills to manage your own workload and at times, support other colleagues. You will communicate clearly with the team, line management, and stakeholders.
