The role

Are you passionate about creating vibrant, inclusive campus experiences? Join our team as the Campus Life Coordinator and lead the delivery of our strategic plan "Building Thriving Student Communities"!

In this role, you'll bring student life to the next level by planning and executing a diverse range of exciting events. You'll be responsible for, and work closely with student societies to support their set up and initiatives, as well as collaborating with our Digital Media and Communications team to promote campus activities, and ensure every student feels included and engaged.

The candidate

We’re looking for a great candidate and so the way you can stand out for us is by demonstrating you’ve got the following skills and experience:

  • Event Planning: You’re skilled at organising a variety of events throughout the year, handling everything from start to finish. You’ll make sure all events are inclusive and engaging for students.
  • Student Engagement Enthusiast: You know how to connect with students from all backgrounds and create a welcoming atmosphere. Working with our Digital Media and Communications team, you’ll help promote events that students will be excited to join.
  • Collaboration Champion: You’ll support student societies by providing them with the guidance and resources they need to succeed. You’ll also work well with other departments, external partners, and student leaders to make campus life vibrant. 
  • Financial Whiz: You’re experienced in managing budgets. You’ll handle event budgets and manage funds for clubs and societies, ensuring they are used wisely and efficiently.
  • Club & Society Support: You’ll support student clubs and societies to set up, thrive and manage their funding. Your role will be to give them the support they need to succeed and make a positive impact on campus.
