Are you looking for a role which underpins world leading research and teaching, and gives you the chance to make a positive difference?

As an Operations Officer in the Core Operations team, you will work flexibly across a range of processes and activities, to support the smooth operation of Human Resources, finances, buildings, governance, senior leadership team support and Health and Safety.

You will:

  • Provide secretarial support to relevant meetings and committees.
  • Provide administrative and operational support for HR-related processes.
  • Provide administrative support for Finance-related processes.
  • Support the senior leadership team, with tasks including organising meetings, travel bookings and disseminating information.
  • Contribute towards continuous improvement work in the Core Operations Team and wider School
  • Undertake the roles of Health and Safety Assistant and First Aider.

You will be someone who can work in a busy and varied role. You will have A-levels or equivalent, or proven work experience in a relevant comparable role. You will have good IT, communication and time-management skills. You will be able to prioritise and manage your own workload.

This role is available as a permanent contract. Hours are full-time (36.25 hours per week), working Monday to Friday. Job share arrangements may be considered.
