We are looking to recruit 6 new Attendance Co-ordinators, for the Richmond Campus. We have full time (36 hours per week) and part time contracts available. This is a term time based role for 39 weeks per academic year. Interviews to be week commencing 22nd July.
The Attendance Co-ordinator role is critical for effective management of student attendance and punctuality, promoting high commitment to study and thereby impacting on student retention and achievement with the designated School.
The post holder will be expected to have a high profile and pro-active role within the School and liaise closely with both students and staff. They will be effective in maintaining IT and paper-based records to monitor student attendance and behaviour and carry out attendance related administration. Importantly, their activity and initiative will have a positive impact on student attendance and punctuality in the Schools in which they operate and will assist the Head of School in meeting agreed attendance and punctuality targets.
Richmond upon Thames College is part of the Harrow, Richmond and Uxbridge College Group (HRUC) and is one of London’s most successful Further Education Colleges providing education and training to 16-19 year old’s and adults from across Richmond, London and Surrey, for over 80 years. We have opened a new building in 2020 and due to develop a brand-new technology-focused STEM Centre for 2024.
This exciting and innovative new learning environment is located within the grounds of the current college site, so remains convenient for public transport links - it is adjacent to the A316 and just a short walk from Twickenham rail station and a number of regular London bus routes
