About the role
As a part of an interdisciplinary team, you will develop novel screening technology based on fluorescence discrimination of analytes.
The project, in conjunction with Agilent Technologies, seeks to explore how this new screening technology can support decision making during pharmaceutical development and beyond.
The project will involve the characterisation of different analytes (biological and chemical) and the development of new approaches to modelling spectroscopic data.
The successful candidate will have experience in developing new analytical approaches based on spectroscopic techniques.
As a member of Research Staff at the University of Bath, you will be encouraged to take up a minimum of 10 days professional development pro rata per year.
The candidate will have experience in developing analytical approaches, data analysis and spectroscopy.
This is a fixed-term role for nine months.
