Job Summary
The project is funded by NIHR Birmingham BRC and will be carried out in collaboration with research teams across the College of Medicine and Health and Partner hospitals. This Research Fellow post represents an opportunity to contribute to the advancement of thermoacoustic imaging and demonstrating the broad applicability in biomedical imaging. The post will focus on developing an experimental bench-top imaging system comprising a microwave source, an antenna, ultrasound detectors and high-speed digitisers, before applying the scanner to image tissue specimens.
