About the Role
For informal enquiries, please contact Hilary Hopker, Communications Manager (Colleague & Community) at hilary.hopker@warwick.ac.uk.
Would you like to join an award-winning internal communications team? If so, we are looking for Communications Officer (Internal Projects).
It’s an exciting time to be joining the team at the University of Warwick, as it undergoes a period of significant growth and heads into its 60th anniversary year.
The Communications Officer (Internal Projects) will be responsible for a wide range of communications activities in support of the University’s overarching communications strategy and change programmes.
This role works to enhance the University’s engagement with its staff community – articulating strategy, news and stories in meaningful communications to help foster a professional and inclusive working environment and helping all our employees contribute to our wider community.
The post holder will ensure oversight of strategic communications themes and activities, and a creative, digital-first approach towards creating content and building brand and reputation to support the university in achieving its objectives across all audiences.
We will consider applications for employment on a part-time or other flexible working basis, even where a position is advertised as full-time, unless there are operational or other objective reasons why it is not possible to do so.
About You
This role would suit someone who is passionate about the ability of internal communications to create a community and enjoys working with other individuals and teams to deliver communications success.
The ideal candidate will bring communications expertise and passion for accessibility. They will be skilled at building lasting and productive relationships with stakeholders at all levels of the organisation.
For further information regarding the skills required for this role please see the personal specification section of the attached job description.
