We are seeking to appoint two coordinators in the Global Research Centre for Diverse Intelligences. The posts will primarily involve the coordination and organisation of research, dissemination and science outreach activities within the Centre.

In addition, the post holders will be expected to contribute towards the planning, organisation and execution of events and the welcoming of all staff, students and international visitors. They should also be able to assist with tasks associated with funding acquisition and budgeting. One post will be primarily focussed on coordinating global research collaborations and initiatives, including potentially conducting some research.

The second post will be primarily focused on coordinating outreach activities based in St Andrews, as well as coordinating collaborative outreach activities such as websites and international conferences. However, there will be a good deal of collaboration and overlap between the roles and responsibilities of the two positions.

The successful candidate will have (or be near to completion of) a BSc/Msc/PhD in a discipline related to Diverse Intelligences with expertise in research, public engagement with science, research coordination, managing an international team, or some combination of the above. We are seeking someone with original ideas and initiative who can contribute in significant ways to further the goals of the Centre.

The post may appeal to someone who likes having a variety of tasks, designing and implementing new ideas and interacting with a range of people on a daily basis. If you think this is you then further information and informal enquiries may be directed to Josep Call, email: jc276@st-andrews.ac.uk, or Amanda Seed, email: ams18@st-andrews.ac.uk.

  • Annual leave of 34 days, plus 5 public holidays
  • Financial contribution to relocation, where applicable
  • Membership of the USS Pension Scheme with generous employer contributions
  • A hybrid working environment, including partial homeworking where appropriate and a range of family friendly policies

Please see the Further Particulars section, “How to Apply” for full application requirements.
