Applications are invited for the position of Assistant Professor in Marketing based in the Marketing Department at Nottingham University Business School. The candidate appointed will be expected to engage in high quality research aligned with at least one of the Department’s priorities (marketing for greater good, sustainable tourism, advanced analytics and AI) and to contribute to teaching on the MSc in Digital Marketing as well as other modules across the range of programmes offered by the School at all levels. Appointed candidates will also be required to make an appropriate contribution to administration. 

Candidates should have a PhD (or equivalent) in a relevant subject area, or be close to completion, together with previous teaching experience in relevant subjects at HE level. Research interests and a publication record in relevant areas are also required. Candidates should have the ability to develop their own research area, the flexibility to collaborate with colleagues and the ability to work well in a team. 

The post is offered on a permanent contract. Hours of work are full time (36.25 hours per week); however applications are also welcome from candidates wishing to work part-time (minimum 29 hours per week).
