Located in central London in the iconic Bush House, King’s Business School is one of the top academic centres in management and business in the UK and we have an outstanding reputation for the quality of our research and teaching.

King's Business School welcomes applicants in any of our areas of research expertise.

Decisions will be announced in March 2025.

Applicants are required to contact potential supervisors to discuss their proposal before applying. Supervisors should have indicated willingness to supervise you before you submit your application.

Details of research undertaken within the School can be found by exploring our Departments and academic staff pages.

Funding Notes

Studentships cover tuition fees for three years, the pending submission status fee and a stipend of approximately £21k/annum (2024-25 rate is £21,237) for four years, with annual inflationary increases, a generous training and conference grant and additional paid teaching and research opportunities.

Applicants are strongly encouraged to also apply for funding from other sources, as these studentships are highly competitive and not all students admitted to our doctoral programmes are awarded a King’s Business School studentship. Other doctoral funding options include the LISS-DTP and King’s - China Scholarship Council, as well as many opportunities in Funding Database.
