About us
The School of Global Affairs is vibrant hub of multi-disciplinary scholarship that seeks to address and resolve the most pressing issues facing our world today, aligning ourselves with King's College London's ambitious goal of changing the world for the better. Our dedicated Programmes teams are committed to creating social & economic value for both business and society, whether at undergraduate, postgraduate taught or postgraduate research level. As well as the departments of Geography, Global Health & Social Medicine and International Development, we support a number of smaller Institutes that make up the Global Institutes where many of our non-standard programmes sit.
About the role
The School of Global Affairs (SGA) is looking for a solution-focused, effective, enthusiastic individual to work alongside the School Education Manager to lead, develop and line manage our team supporting postgraduate online & executive/leadership education programmes. The SGA currently has a number of postgraduate programmes which are either online, or follow a non-traditional pattern and contain online modules. This is an exciting opportunity to work alongside academics and the wider education team supporting and developing a new cadre of programmes and modules.
You will develop, monitor and support the delivery of high-quality client relationships and student experience, and will ensure that service delivery issues are addressed, and resources are utilised. You will work with the team on setting objectives and meeting these in a timely fashion and will contribute to team building and leadership within the wider School Education Team. You will be required to work closely with all relevant stakeholders and maintain up to date knowledge of programme and College regulations, particularly where it pertains to online teaching, providing accurate guidance to colleagues and students as required and ensuring all quality assurance processes are followed.
You will also contribute to strategic planning, the design and implementation of new systems and processes and programme development and delivery; you will ensure the provision of a high level of service to both students and staff. You will also work on the harmonisation of processes and procedures in collaboration with the School Education Manager and the wider Education Team. You will be responsible for the effective distribution of education support across these programmes and the quality of service provided.
As part of the Professional Services team at the SGA you would be offered in-house training, a personal training allowance for external training, and the opportunity to work on various projects and initiatives.
This is a full time (35 Hours per week), and you will be offered an indefinite contract.
