  • An active interest in trial methodology coupled with an enthusiasm for collaborative work with researchers from diverse disciplines will be highly valued.
  • The ability to operate both independently and collaboratively with their fellow statisticians.
  • Proficiency in task prioritisation, workload management, and eagerness to contribute to ICTU's cohesive team environment will be crucial.
  • Prior experience in clinical trials and proficiency in using statistical packages, such as R and/or Stata, is essential for this role.

What we can offer you:

  • A supportive team.
  • The opportunity to mould a brand new and important role.
  • Academic activities, such as the peer reviewing of papers for journals and contributing to the writing of grant proposals, will be encouraged.
  • Additional opportunities to contribute to  methodology design consultations as part of  the new NIHR RSS hub (https://www.nihr.ac.uk/explore-nihr/support/research-support-service/), providing expertise in statistics.
  • The opportunity to continue your career at a world-leading institution and be part of our mission to continue science for humanity
  • Benefit from sector-leading salary and remuneration package (including 39 days off a year and generous pension schemes)
  • Get access to a range of workplace benefits including a flexible working policy from day 1, generous family leave packages, on-site leisure facilities and a cycle-to-work scheme
  • Interest-free season ticket loan schemes for travel
  • Be part of a diverse, inclusive, and collaborative work culture with various staff networks and resources designed to support your personal and professional wellbeing.
