This is a great opportunity for a Communications Manager – Reputation Management to join the University’s External Relations on a permanent basis.
In this role, you will be part of a sector-leading communications team responsible for earning local, national, and global media coverage to maximise the reputation of the University of Glasgow.
You will develop and deliver communications plans aligned with the University’s communications strategy to promote and enhance the University’s global reputation, showcase the most innovative learning & teaching and world-changing research, explain its positive impact on society, and help the University speak with one clear, open and transparent voice.
You will use expert knowledge and experience to collaborate with senior leaders to shape policy and direction through strategic communications guidance and support. You will also support the delivery of the University’s reputation management plans, articulating the University’s vision and impact on internal and external audiences.
As a Communications Manager, you will be accountable for the effective leadership, coordination, and delivery of UofG-led, multi-partner, and multi-institution research-related projects in support of our Global Glasgow reputation management plan.
