Role
As a Senior Lecturer in Tourism, Hospitality and Events you will be responsible for relevant teaching and supervision of students on undergraduate and postgraduate levels, as well as module and programme leadership, primarily in the areas of tourism and hospitality, and secondarily in events. You will have an interest, expertise, and potentially also industry experience in tourism, hospitality and/or events, along with experience of teaching, module leadership, and programme leadership, in a higher education setting. You will be educated to doctoral level (or nearing completion) and will have previous experience of teaching, module leadership, and programme leadership, in a higher education setting. Your interests, expertise and/or industry experience will inform your teaching and supervision within a range of relevant thematic areas such as (strategic) management in tourism, hospitality and events; sustainability in tourism, hospitality and events; and current trends and issues within these inter-related international sectors. You will also be either already active in, or willing to develop, relevant research, scholarship, knowledge exchange and/or consultancy activity in tourism, hospitality and/or events.
