We are recruiting for an exceptional individual to join us as a Category Manager within our Team. Reporting directly to the Head of Procurement, the successful candidate will be responsible for managing the IT category of spend including the development and delivery of a category strategy identifying opportunities for savings and benefits within the IT category. This includes the analysis of spend and the award and management of any subsequent contracts, ensuring outcomes are aligned with the University’s strategic aims. The IT Category Manager role is based in the Procurement Office in the Tower Building. The University operates a hybrid working policy therefore staff will be required to be on campus two days per week and work from home three days per week. Your priorities will include:
