About the Role

For informal enquiries, please contact Hannah Reese (Director of Communications and Marketing) at Hannah.reese@wbs.ac.uk.

Warwick Business School (WBS) is looking for an experienced digital marketer with significant knowledge of trends, platforms, tools and content strategy to lead our Digital Marketing team.

You will bring your passion and experience to help us extend and deepen reach and engagement with target audiences globally – supporting student recruitment, and brand and reputation building; ensuring this is audience-focused and sector-leading.

While your specific area of responsibility will be on all things digital – including social media, in-house film production, and web content – you’ll be part of the wider management team with Communications & Marketing. You and your team will also work collaboratively with colleagues across our Programme Marketing; Brand, Design and Communications; and Press and PR teams.

This role is essential in ensuring we achieve our ambitious targets, both short term and towards the 2030 strategy, and must be underpinned by extensive audience insight, technical knowledge, engaging content creation, and monitoring and evaluation.

You’ll have responsibility for a significant budget and for the setting and management of specific campaign budgets within this.

About You

To be considered for this role you’ll need to be able to demonstrate significant experience of:

  • Devising and delivering digital communications strategies which help build reputation and positive sentiment
  • Managing and motivating a high performing team within a large, complex organisation and driving a digital-first approach
  • Planning and delivering effective multi-audience campaigns, including the creation of objectives, audience insight mapping and segmentation, channel and media selection, and the creation of clear metrics and means to evaluate activity
  • Content creation which delivers increased engagement and /or audience growth on owned channels and external platforms.
  • Experience of crisis communications and pro-actively managing responses via social media.

You’ll also be able to think creatively and to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Although assigned to a particular area, it is essential to work in an integrated way in order to spot and maximise opportunities to grow the WBS brand and achieve engagement and conversions.

For further information regarding the skills required for this role please see the personal specification section of the attached job description.

Does this sound like you? If so, we’d love to hear from you!

CLOSING DATE: Wednesday 02 October 2024 at 11.55 pm
