Wimbledon College of Arts is looking for a Specialist Technician (Learning & Teaching) 3D Animation and Visualisation, to support the Production Arts for Screen course.
As a member of the technical team within Production Arts for Screen you will work closely with technical and academic staff to both maintain and develop the digital learning experience.
You will play a key role providing digital teaching support and managing and maintaining the course hardware.
About you
You will require an up-to-date understanding of 3D software packages and be competent in designing and rendering objects & animations.
An understanding of IT systems is essential as troubleshooting is often required due to continued software and hardware developments.
You will be proactive and innovative within the specialism and explore new approaches and solutions, to support a smooth digital teaching experience for the students and course team.
This role is based within the Production Arts for Screen course, however it operates as a part of the wider Wimbledon College of Arts technical team. Experience of working within a team and communicating with people that have a varying technical understanding is essential.
