About the role

The Bodleian Libraries are seeking an Accounts Supervisor to join their busy Accounts team. Reporting to the Head of Finance, you will have overall responsibility for the day-to-day functions of the transaction processing team.

You will line manage a team of three Accounts Assistants and will ensure that the essential daily tasks of cash handling and banking, payables invoice processing and the monitoring of incoming email are completed. This will include directly providing cover when required.

A significant part of your role will be to act as the key point of contact to Bodleian Administrative and Finance staff outside of the Accounts team, particularly in relation to the payables, purchasing and cash management processes.

This is a permanent, full-time post, working 36.5 hours per week.

About you

You will have experience of leading a team within an accounts or finance related environment.

A focus on meeting priorities and deadlines, while maintaining the highest standards of accuracy and clarity, is vital.

An understanding or experience of the University’s Oracle financial system would be desirable.
